Winery Events, Festivals, News & IUWT Happenings...
Vintage Indiana Wine & Food Festival is Saturday, June 5th in Military Park in Indianapolis. $25 at the gate gets you a logo souvenir wine glass & samples of wine from 26 Indiana wineries! There will be: local food vendors, live music, a kids' zone, & a wine and food experience pavilion featuring wine and food pairings with Indiana's top winemakers and chefs.
Also, the Indiana Uplands Wine Trail wineries will hold their grand prize drawing from the 2009-2010 IUWT passports for the following prizes: a beautiful sterling silver & amethyst custom made pendant, a night's stay for two at Back To Nature Cabins, Scout Mountain B & B, & Harvest Moon B & B, not to mention all the other prizes that we will award. Grand prize winners do not have to be present to win, but there will be other cool things we'll be giving away to a few lucky attendees, like $20 gift certificates from each of the IUWT wineries!
Just released two more new wines: Chardonel 2009 ($13.95) & Vineyard Rosé ($8.95). They are both fantastic! We are really turning out some great new blends & varietals right now. Come & taste the new stuff to see how very good they all are!

Come visit us on the Indiana Upland Wine Trail during the third weekend of April, the 17th & 18th for A Toast to Spring (& Traminette!) Get some cheese with your wine during this fun, free event at all wineries on the IUWT. Each of us will be offering specially selected cheeses to pair along with our own Indiana-grown wines.
Traminette, Indiana's new signature grape will be a focus at each winery as well, so be sure to taste our new Indiana Uplands grown Traminette when you visit us at the vineyard or our intown shop. Our Traminette will be released soon, so stop in & try it on!

Red Select is back in the bottle again! This is an an absolutely fabulous, easy drinking dry red. Always, Amy's favorite, you must taste it on your next visit!
List of newly released wines - Blackberry is now available after a several year hiatus from our wine list, this very popular fruit wine has finally returned! Black Currant - this is a lighter fruitier blend than the last batch, but still packs the powerful sweet tart currant flavor. Vineyard White - A new bottling as of January,
this is a lovely blend of 62% Chardonel, 30% traminette & 8% Catawba juice. It's reminiscent of a late harvest wine with the delicate grape flavor of the Catawba coming through. Yummy & definitely affordable at a mere $8.95 per 750mL bottle!
Results from the 2009 Indy International Wine Competition: Our 2008 Chambourcin Rosé received a double gold and won Rosé Wine of the Year! The Chambourcin Rosé was also awarded the Indiana-grown French American Wine of the Year!
Other medals include: Vidal Blanc Ice Wine- gold, Red Select & Indiana White - silver, and our Vineyard Red, Late Harvest Vignoles, & 2006 Chambourcin- bronze. View the press release.
This is the first time an Indiana winery has won such a major trophy at this international wine competition- our Chambourcin Rosé was one of the five wines that was considered for the overall best of show!

Indiana wineries may now ship to Indiana residents as long as they have filled out the direct shipping verification form during a visit to our winery & the package is shipped including an adult signature requirement upon receipt.
Not added to the list above yet, but you can now find Butler wines in many Kroger stores in Indiana!
